Getting Started with Personal or Professional Coaching
Get started with coaching by calling or emailing me so we can schedule a time to chat.
During this complimentary coaching session, we can get to know each other and see if coaching with me would be helpful for you. Following is some information on how coaching works. I will be happy to answer all of your questions when we speak.
Coaching is a collaboration between two people. I will act as a support system to help you become more aware, set goals, and plan action steps to achieve them. Whether you need personal or professional business, career, motivational, or creativity, coaching, I can assist you to think through problems and move forward.
Coaching is based on the idea of the coach asking ‘powerful questions’ to enable you to gain insight and arrive at your own answers; but I can also, with your permission, offer suggestions that I believe will be helpful. In addition, we can work with mindfulness and a technique called ‘focusing,’ These methods can help you learn ways to stay calm and become more open to your own intuitive guidance.
I’m here to accompany you, to be on your side as you follow your own path.
Each person has different needs, and we will identify the skills and methods that work best for you, so you can deal successfully with your challenges and responsibilities. But we can also build on your talents, strengths, and interests, so that you can focus on where you want to go, who you truly are, and you are becoming.

Most coaching is done by telephone or on Zoom.
How long will coaching take?
- Effective coaching usually unfolds over a period of time, since making a commitment and establishing a certain pace works best. A minimum of 3-6 months is often a good time frame.
Effective coaching requires a commitment to expanding awareness and implementing change.
Everyone is different, and the answer to which kind of coaching sessions you would like depends on your wants and needs. It is helpful to have regular sessions either once a week or at least two or three times per month.
However, sometimes you may like to schedule one or two sessions to make a plan, set goals, and get motivated.
Whatever your needs are, we can work together to meet them.
